The Hunter killed Sarah in my first playthrough. He was my favorite character after that. I even killed the space pope for him.

This game is very bad, I have real world experience in being a squad leader, and I found it actually insane that this game was developed without the ability to issue individual squad commands. You can't do stuff as simple as place one squad member on a hill overlooking the compound you are about to raid, and take the other 2 with you.

55k people are irreversibly dumber after watching this video. After watching your video, I can only ascertain that the bar for your expectations for everything buried under the earth. I honestly feel bad for you for not having higher expectations and more respect for your time

It's an amazing game. With all its shortcomings.

You should try the first-person mod. Completely changes the gameplay experiance. Its super easy to install too. I am replaying through the campaign and its like a new game.

make sure to not buy it when its on sale. you will regret it.

This will always be the 50/50 Star wars film for me because look in a nutshell I try not to be too mad about it, but when I read how Colin trevorrow already had a script and it wasn't just more in line with the last Jedi It built on it, That stings. And just the self-awareness vibe from JJ as opposed to you know actually honoring a director choice. If "Disney and Lucas film just said f*** the hate we're going to continue where That film left off" I would have genuinely more respect for them. Cuz it's more respectable to just stick to your guns than it is to cave to a hate mob. I say all this because at the end of the day this movie's going to be remembered by me as "The film that was afraid of the fanbase." I can still enjoy it but I can't say it's a well made movie.

im currently giving this game another go. i got to level 17 or something first time i played and now im slowly building a mod list now that the creaton kit is out. already a few good QOL ones like seamless grav jump and stuff. im having a good time with it rn

Playing ghost mode with your friends is highly addictive! Me and my buddy don't throw patches on till rank 15, once you get a medic drone you've earned it.

I really like this game, outside of loading screens and some bland planets - everything else is great.

I really, really like this game. It's not perfect, and it has flaws. When it launched, I was preparing myself to transition my YT channel into a mostly "Starfield" channel. I was so positive that it was going to be the big hit that I could glean hundreds of videos from. And then... the collapse. Almost immediately, the game got shredded by the all-knowing content overlords, and every video I've made has been filled with toxic, knee-jerk comments, enraged fans spouting buzzwords they snagged from other enraged YT channels, and just pure vitriol. It's truly astonishing how popular it became to hate on "Starfield", and that making a take-down video or some other 12-hr manifesto on why it is the worst game in all of gaming history... ever, became such a "in crowd" thing. It's like, "Didn't you know that making 'Starfield is the WORST Game' videos is how to get views for your crappy channel?" I've been patiently holding off on making an "Ultimate Review" on the game because, well, for one, I just don't have the time right now to write up such a lengthy script AND assemble all of the footage; and second, I know full well that once I make the video, it will be carpet bombed in the comments by those "very special people" that can't help but leave opinionated and subjective comments about it... as if at this point, I'll magically throw my controller down and suddenly see the error of my ways. I have friends that absolutely can't stand some of the games I adore, and the other way around. But our reasons are often dumb, I don't question why my friend hates Minecraft because the blocks bother them... their excuse doesn't need to be deep, and I don't have to understand it. In the same way, I fail to see why it's a crime if I enjoy Starfield. You don't have to understand why I like it, and my reasons don't need to be logically sound. I'm not playing this game for anyone but myself, and my enjoying or not enjoying it isn't going to make the universe age any slower or faster, or affect the gravitational pull of someone's massive ego. So, thank you. I really enjoyed the video, and it definitely helped me make up my mind on some of the future content for my channel. I think I'll work harder at making the time to get on that script now.

I never do this, but I pre-ordered the premium edition and took a week off work to play it, but I stopped playing before I even finished it I told myself that maybe when mods come to Starfield, I would jump back in. I did exactly that, and having a great time with her they really have done good work

The mini games are optional. I loved every mini game. Don’t forget this is the middle game of a trilogy it’s not supposed to tell you everything

Finally someone said it. I love this game, and it’s, honestly, one of the greatest games I’ve ever played, and it’ll be one of my all-time favorites, but god damnit, THERE WERE TOO MANY FUCKING MINI GAMES!!! If SE has to reduce their budget for the third game (I hope not), they’ll leave out non-essential mini games, and only include the ones we know and love. 🏂

It's crazy how I don't disagree with any of your complaints, but I still had a blast with mostly everything in the game. I loved the Nibel chocobo, dammit. I can always count on you for an interesting take, I think the conversation around this game is going to be insane. I think it's still going to go down as one of the greats of all time. Like, with some kind of "most annoying masterpiece ever made" moniker.

One problem I do have is that the factions don’t effect the world hardly at all after your done with the quests, on my ranger playthrough I was very disappointed with how little I was able to yuse the badge in convo. If I was in charge I would make it so which ever faction you join has dialogue options for most of the game, massive undertaking but thats all we REALLY want from these games

Most people who talk bad about this game do it because it’s either not their cup of tea or they are just following the trend. But If you like Bethesda rpgs this is just another game you will like because it’s just more of that except in space, it certainly needs work and in some parts feels half baked but this game is worth your time if you want a world to immerse yourself in!!!

Anybody feel like the game would be vastly improved if we somehow added multiplayer? Like just a simple two player session? 😑

FF7 Rebirth to me is 9.5/10. Hard agree with most of your points. I actually didn't mind the open world so much, but the amount of mini-games was getting a bit much. I'd also like them to add an option to skip most of Chadleys chatter. A bit too much stopping for animations. Story and combat though, absolutely fucking amazing

Well I am still having fun in Starfield. I played it first on my series x when it released and not long ago I built a 2.5€k pc that runs it on ultra settings at 2k a little over 160 fps 😅 so guess who’s replaying Starfield now

Every game has good and bad. No game is 100% good, and most are not 100% bad. What matters is that the good outweighs the bad. The fact that I am able to keep going back and playing it without dropping it is proof that Rebirth is a good game. However, it does have flaws that I hope the developers improve upon in the final game, so it is a less stressful experience.

I think it's interesting that the game doesn't spell it out, but I think Sephiroth's plan from the beginning is revealed in how Aerith still dies. He is in control of Whisperers and may now have some control over fate. There's something cool and terrifying about that. I think there are still a lot of surprises to come.

Starfield has 12 different poi/dungeons repeating at random for 1000 worlds. You can procedurally generate the maps but you can’t procedurally generate the content.

You’re allowed to enjoy it but let’s not pretend the game wasn’t outdated the moment it launched.

I honestly feel that people who praised this game to no end and gave it 10/10, really told me the level of intelligence modern gamers have. That is, zero. I had to cringe every time the reviewer in this video said: "By the way, I love this game, it's a JRPG masterpiece". What is a masterpiece, truly, about this game? Boring open world, and narratively, nothing happens in this game. And what does is stupid (entire whisper sub plot). It's also not as massive as described. Once you've reached Corel, you basically saw 90% of the game since the game just brings you back there, and most of the game happens around Corel/costa del Sol/Gold Saucer. What you have in the open world are completely useless Ubisoft check marks. Yes I did them all, as a completionist, but was it good game time? No. Let's call this game what it is. A Waste of time. They should and could have combined part 2 and 3 into a single game, by cutting all the fat from Rebirth. What was good about FF7 Remake part 1? How cinematic it was, and especially the characterisation and bonding. Simple things like when you arrive in the slums, and the Slum + Tifa theme play. It was masterfully done for a PS4 game. It pulls you in, makes you feel like you are a merc integrating a group of terrorists. Rebirth gives you zero similar feelings. The characters are all bland, and Aerith feels like an android that speaks. Why is she speaking in riddles, why isn't she surprised when anything weird like Sephiroth appearing happens? It's all a mess. 99% who praise this game, I can vouch for, will admit that they do not understand the story. That's how dumb gamers are. This game has great gameplay and graphics, but is HOLLOW underneath the husk. That people can't see that is baffling to me. It is a step down from FF7 Remake Part 1, despite all the bells and whistles added. I thoroughly enjoyed FF7 Remake part 1 because of what it delivered on (only negative part for me was the entire Market Down/Don Corneo part which lingers on too long). I cannot say the same of Rebirth. Rebirth feels like an introduction to part 3 and is entirely skippable.

Yeah man I mean like critic culture on RUclips is out of control. Was I disappointed? I mean sure. They oversold it they always do. Did I hate it? No lol not even close. Does it get redundant at times sure? But tell me man what game isn't that? Like if we were gonna go star ratings - there's a ton of games that like are three star games - solid- i'll enjoy it but not really remember it? That's where i'd rank this. I'm sure it'll get better too. It's fine, good game, not a great game and i'm ok with that. It's good man. It's fun. You won't hate yourself for playing it

Mixed reviews is the analysis and finding no negative reviews makes a mixed set of reviews not possible, there would need to be negative reviews mixed in with the positive. The positive reviews should still have negative things to say about the game...I wonder if the word you're thinking of is neutral which used to be a thing you could mark your review as on Steam IIRC. Well anyway, my overall opinion of this game is positive. But I can agree that it had some serious problems and not a few of them, either.
